The City's population and service area are expected to double over the next 20 years as various development projects are completed. These new residential projects will be accompanied by commercial and retail developments to provide for a balanced and economically stable community. 

San Clemente has some of the most beautiful  historical buildings in the west. While in town, make a point to visit the Casa Romantica, the historic home of Ole Hanson overlooking the Pacific Ocean, as well as our two wonderful historical museums at the Heritage of San Clemente, which includes a complete surfing  museum and the Historical Society Museum in the historic City Hall.
